I really th...I am so disappointed in Antonio Lucio. I really thought he was going to be able to drive change in ad agencies, and make them account for the lack of hiring POC. <br /><br />Instead, he let them slide and accepted all their excuses. He put his money and weight behind initiatives and ads that seemed multicultural on the surface, but only benefited or hired white women behind the scenes. <br /><br />I predict that now that he's at Facebook, it'll be more of the same. Money dropped on feel good initiatives that let white women get ahead, lip service to "mentoring kids of color so that they know they can grow up to work in advertising too", and hiring of nobody of color at Facebook's agencies unless they're on a visa from overseas.
