Essay 1557


In 2005, The Art Directors Club created entry materials for its 85th annual awards show that were nothing short of racist (see above). The ADC’s latest effort takes another bad turn, this time attacking consumerism, politicians, religious leaders, foreigners and more (see below). Somebody give this club an award for consistently demonstrating the exclusivity, insensitivity and just plain stupidity so prevalent in the advertising industry.

I think you should look at this broader.

The most beautiful part of this picture is the cool blue up in the corner.

The ugliest is the brown side with all the PEOPLE, who cares what color.

When those polar caps melt water will be the biggest fear not fire.

It's quite well known that the most diversity on earth exits in cold water environments in the depths of the ocean. For which reason? experience? Better learn to swim in cold water. Now.

We should be less worried about diversity of skin color and more worried about diversity of life in the entire animal and plant kingdom.
