The latest episode of AMC series Mad Men opened with agency staffers discussing the upcoming bout between Sonny Liston and Cassius Clay. Creator Matthew Weiner covered a couple of un-PC angles, from a frugal copywriter chided for being “such a Jew” to Don Draper’s secretary declaring, “If I wanted to see two Negroes fight, I’d throw a dollar bill out my window.” Somebody ought to punch Weiner in the face.
