The third episode of AMC series Mad Men actually looked good—but only when compared to the latest installment of the
Unilever series starring Phil Smith and Tad Winter of SmithWinterMitchell. This week, the hack duo brainstormed for
Breyers Ice Cream. Not sure what’s worse: What Mad Men says about advertising of the past, or what SmithWinterMitchell says about advertising of the present. The inane bullshit was hatched by Mindshare Entertainment, an enterprise that clearly has little experience with entertainment and likely doesn’t have a mind worth sharing. In Mad Men, Don Draper and Lane Pryce partied with a couple of $25 hookers. Unilever is paying significantly more to let the whorish Mindshare Entertainment fuck with their brands.
