The August 2010 issue of
British GQ presented an ass-kissing profile of WPP Chairman Sir Martin Sorrell, even contrasting the man to Don Draper of AMC series Mad Men. Can’t help but wonder if foreign takeover wonks like Sorrell ultimately stifled industry diversity, as creating inclusive U.S. workforces isn’t likely a primary concern. In the article, Sorrell admits, “We tend to nick talent, rather than develop it. We’ve never grown talent like the investment banks and consulting firms. We’re a bit insular.” No shit, Sir Sherlock.
More interesting is the magazine’s
cover and photo spread featuring Zoe Saldana.
