Advertising Age reported Sears Holdings—owners of Sears and Kmart—is reviewing advertising agencies. Y&R and Draftfcb currently handle Sears and Kmart, respectively. However, the client claims the two will continue to work on the brands. Sears
erased its internal multicultural unit over five years ago. And Kmart recently announced an
innovative approach to multicultural marketing. All of which means the chances of a minority agency getting a shot in potential pitches are zilch.
