This whole Kohl's campaign is a punch to the throat, because I know personally that they've stopped hiring anybody ethnic in a real way, and just call in one single copywriter to punch up the "black family stuff," or one translator to add a single line of Spanish dialogue to an all white ad that they shoehorn someone Italian-looking into (nobody really Hispanic anymore).
This is bad because how are you supposed to make a life off of one line of copy you do as a freelancer once a quarter?
