Advertising Age awarded the Marketers of the Year No. 2 slot to Popeyes. Highlighting the sales of the chain’s fried chicken sandwich, Ad Age even made references to Black Twitter:

However, the lengthy report made zero references to Annie The Chicken Queen. WTF.
