Campaign published content claiming that open and harsh criticism towards White advertising agency staff from clients is allowed to go unchecked. The article is titled, “How big a problem is abusive client behaviour?”
Answer: Not nearly as big a problem as Adland’s systemic racism—which results in abusive behaviour from White men and White women aimed at people of color. Whether the abuse comes in the form of microaggressions or massive aggressions, the openly harsh bullshit has been allowed to go unchecked for decades. What’s more, clients have not criticized White ad agency staffers for the discriminatory practices at all.
