15980: Publicis Groupe’s Mane Distraction.

Publicis Groupe in Greece explains the patronizing propaganda pictured above as follows:

Thousands of women protest against the murder of Iranian activist Mahsa Aminii by cutting their hair. Since the beginning of the protests in Iran this month, more than 41 lives have been lost. Meanwhile the government has shut down the Internet to prevent the protesters from spreading their message. Publicis Groupe, cut the hair of its iconic lion logo to help the message of protesting women spread worldwide: WOMAN. LIFE. FREEDOM.

Okay, but the hair-cutting protestors are women—not men or male lions. Although the pseudo act of advocacy might’ve felt more authentic if ex-Publicis Groupe Chairman, CEO and Gender Defender Maurice Lévy had snipped his silvery locks.
