Don’t know if the Rooney Rule can be given credit, but is it a coincidence that Dan Rooney’s Pittsburgh Steelers hired Coach Mike Tomlin—the youngest coach to win a Super Bowl and now the youngest coach to lead teams to two Super Bowls?
Maybe there is something to the Advertising Age suggestion that a Rooney Rule-style initiative be adopted by Madison Avenue.
