The 4As is offering divertsity drills to help women juggle motherhood and careers. Hey, maybe the trade organization will create a spin-off targeting minorities. If a person of color wants to succeed in advertising, he has to be bad mutha—shut your mouth!
Can someone explain to me how the best the 4As can come up with for racial diversity in advertising is years of empty promises, no real action, and the occasional toothless training programs for teenagers, yet when white moms need attention then golly gee, the 4As steps up with real programs, a precise plan of action and buy-in from all the big agencies?
