Omnicom and Interpublic have confirmed that they have received all but two regional regulatory approvals required to proceed with their combination.
Along with the European Union, the remaining country yet to greenlight the deal is Mexico.
The firms said they still expect to complete their transaction by the end of the year.
Separately, the firms said they’re extending the expiration date to Oct. 31 for the previously announced exchange offers and consent solicitations for IPG’s outstanding notes.
