Ups and downs in a MultiCultClassics Monologue…
• The U.S. unemployment rate rose to 10.2 percent, the highest since 1926. The Madison Avenue diversity rate has risen far less than that since 1926, and it’s still well within the lower single digits.
• Mickey D’s settled a lawsuit from a Minnesota burger parlor that charged the fast feeder had ripped off the registered line, “Who’s your patty?” Guess McDonald’s Black advertising agency will have to go back to the drawing board.
