9790: Keep On Trucking, KFC.

Not sure this KFC commercial succeeds in hyping the freshness of the chicken. Is it the lumbering semi-trailer truck? The Tyson cartons being unloaded? Or maybe it’s the legal disclaimer that reads, “Fresh claim applicable to KFC’s drumsticks, thighs, breasts, and wings only. Not applicable in AK, HI, and in the event of unusual supply outages.” Gee, another slight for Native Alaskans and Hawaiians.

It's hard to say how high fast food chains aim when they claim their products are fresh and healthy. Ads like these are entertaining, but it remains to be seen just how seriously the public takes them.

I guess that's how ads should. They could do more, but seeing to it that there are limits because of ad standards.
