10981: Wise Up, Wise Up.

There’s a fair amount of cultural cluelessness in this Wise Up campaign from Brazil. For starters, Valentine’s Day is celebrated in different ways worldwide, so it’s slightly ignorant to presume it’s a source of universal connection. The cross-cultural and interracial romance—as well as the heavy-handed stereotyping—seems a bit ridiculous too. Finally, the notion that English is required to create social harmony is rather offensive.
