Its not just the advertising industry my friend. Have you checked out the technology industry? Look at facebook, they have diversity problems as well. The difference is, the tech industry is fairly recent in comparison to the ad industry. And (whether it's true or not) they are currently making public statements about increasing diversity. Whereas the ad industry has been discriminatory toward black people since the 1940s.

When did "Black diversity officer" become synonymous with "nothing's going to actually get done?"
