Adweek reported four Stagwell White advertising agencies have been combined to transform one White advertising agency—Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
Why bother? The move underscores how White holding companies have fueled the commoditization of talent, whereby all White advertising agencies—as well as the White people working for them—are generic, interchangeable pieces comprising puzzling wholes.
In this case, the masthead features at least two names—Crispin + Bogusky—no longer associated with the enterprise. Seems like the inevitable act will be to rename the entire corporation Stagwell. Or Stinkwell.
