10071: Staying Abreast Of Hooters News.

PR Newswire announced that Hooters selected Fitzgerald+CO as its AOR after an extensive agency screening. Talk about a missed opportunity for AMC series The Pitch. And it’s a safe bet the “extensive agency screening” was not as thorough and demanding as the process candidates experience when applying to become a Hooters Girl.

Hooters Selects Fitzgerald+CO as Lead Creative Agency to Launch Hooters 2.0 Brand Strategy

ATLANTA, May 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Atlanta based Hooters of America, LLC announced the partnership with Fitzgerald+CO as its lead creative agency of record, concluding an extensive agency screening.

“We are very impressed with the unique and progressive concepts that Fitzgerald+CO presented, as well as their clear understanding of our culture and customer base,” said Dave Henninger, CMO for Hooters of America LLC. “As we approach our 30 year milestone, we are thrilled to partner with a proven creative industry leader to focus on the next evolution of our brand.”

Fitzgerald+CO will immediately begin working on a creative campaign leveraging TV, radio and social media components, scheduled to launch late this summer.

We’re eager to get to work and are already enjoying this partnership as much as Hooters guests do when they visit their restaurants.”
