In a totally unexpected move, Omnicom announced the hiring of a Black man for a C-Suite position within the holding company. The new executive, pictured here, has not yet been officially identified. Plus, Omnicom is still seeking a suitable role for him. He has, however, been known as the hardest-working man in Black advertising for many years.
Omnicom President-CEO and Pioneer of Diversity John Wren gushed, “We’re delighted to welcome a qualified person of color to the organization. Diversity is a priority at Omnicom—despite our steadfast unwillingness to share EEO-1 data with the public.”
“This extraordinary appointment is a win-win,” added Omnicom SVP Chief Diversity Officer Tiffany R. Warren. “Now we’re able to deflect charges of racism and ageism.”
In addition to his extensive advertising experience, the new executive is a doting grandfather and devoted family man.
