Adweek published a report on managing directors, which included stating, “According to many job boards, the managing director is the highest-ranking manager in the organization, often just below the CEO or president. The position oversees all the activities at the agency: operations, managing resources, instituting strategic goals, and helping grow the agency and its culture.”
Okay, so are there no Managing Directors of Color in Adland that could have been depicted? There appear to be a few Latinas in the group, but still…

Nah, those ain't Latinas. Europeans and of European descent, yeah. Spaniards aren't BIPOC, for instance. Agencies in the US don't hire minorities here, they hire white women and visa holders (in that order) and say they've checked the diversity box.
