The anti-DEIBA+ executive order signed by President Donald J. Trump effectively eliminates the advertising depicted here—and impacts the non-White advertising agencies historically charged with executing such recruitment promotions.
Given the shops producing DEIBA+ recruitment advertising receive crumbs as compensation, the loss might seem insignificant. Yet when an enterprise is dependent on crumbs—just as White advertising agencies are dependent on client cash—any reduction is, well, crumby.
Nixing DEIBA+ recruiting adversely affects fair representation in the workforce and revenue for non-White firms—a double whammy for the underrepresented.
In the end, the scheme creates a powerful campaign for systemic racism.
