Of course, diversity didn’t refer to race, ethnicity, lifestyle or culture; rather it covered the professional range of creators—from in-house departments to publishers. Digiday continues to display its ignorance and disdain for traditional advertising agencies, yet it mimics the industry’s obsession with exclusive awards.
