8772: Coors Light Tastes Like Old Spice.

The World’s Most Refreshing Beer presents the least refreshing advertising. In fact, this commercial is a blatant rip-off of the Old Spice campaign. Draftfcb Chairman Howard Draft claimed only 20 percent of his agency’s work could be considered great. This Coors Light shit is clearly in the 80 percent.

Sometimes its the client who asks for the agency to copy award winning work. Draft isnt a creative powerhouse by any means, so it may not be their fault. Its a total rip of the old spice work, but then again its beer advertising. Draft also does the taco bell advertising right?

Perhaps. But that’s a pretty lame excuse, Anonymous. It’s bad enough when an agency is allowing the client to dictate things, but letting them dictate to such a degree indicates the weakness of the agency.
