Advertising Age reported Anheuser-Busch InBev launched an in-house agency called Draftline. Okay, maybe it’s a nod to draft beer, but the name feels like a Howard Draft enterprise—and even shitty White advertising agency FCB saw fit to shed the Draft label from its masthead.

Anheuser-Busch used to hire POC and multicultural agencies in droves up until a few years ago, until holding companies got a whiff of their General Market agency dollars going to independent companies. So they drove all that work to white agencies and white staff instead.
Now that the brand is bringing it in house, it will be interesting to see if they continue the pattern of targeting POC communities by paying all white teams to do all the work.
I personally know a VERY talented, creative POC who was just hired to work there. Hopefully he isn't the exception!
