Is the Ad Age DEI Council a symbol of progress—or does it symbolize the progressing disinterest that the industry displays for diversity, equity, and inclusion? After all, the trade publication continues to hype the committee with banners reading: AD AGE 2022 DIVERSITY COUNCIL. Um, we’re now beyond the halfway point of 2023.
