The Blueprint—an international boutique search firm—published its fourth annual The Truth About Talent, featuring content based on surveys and interviews with “transformational leaders” at White advertising agencies in the UK and US.
The 2023 edition includes a section titled, “The Diversity Delusion”—revealing that 23% of agency leaders think their agencies are “really good” at DEI strategy implementation.
It’s a safe bet that the other 77% really suck at DEI and associated performative PR, patronizing propaganda, and heat shields. Hell, the allegedly progressive 23% should be further interrogated, as they are probably delusional, denying, and deceptive douche bags—as well as the female and non-binary equivalents of douche bags.
Indeed, that The Blueprint found it necessary to poll executives to uncover the obvious and common knowledge puts their credibility into question too.
And that’s the truth.
