7840: Mad Men Mention.
During the second episode of AMC series Mad Men, shortly after Don Draper made out with his secretary, a Clorox commercial ran. The spot showed a white shirt with lipstick on its collar. A super typed across the screen that read: Getting ad guys out of hot water for generations. Gee, how clever. But honestly, is this the best way for Madison Avenue to position itself—admitting the over-the-top sexism, racism and other ugliness depicted on Mad Men continues today?
