Looking at the figures with a MultiCultClassics Monologue…
• A new survey shows 62 percent of Americans want major corporations to have less influence on the country, 24 percent want things to stay about the same and 12 percent want corporations to have more influence. Of course, the 12 percent are the leaders of major corporations who have all the power, so they’ll override the opinions of the other groups.
• U.S. Census estimates indicated that racial minorities accounted for about 85 percent of the nation’s growth over the past decade. The percentage is more than completely opposite of the growth on Madison Avenue.
