8955: Transformers 3—Dark Of The Stereotypes.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is terrible, awful, dreadful shit. MultiCultClassics won’t be the spoiler by detailing the myriad reasons why—although Megan Fox looks like an Oscar-worthy thespian compared to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley—but will instead criticize a minor element in the movie.

Ken Jeong plays Jerry Wang (Get it? Wang.), a loud and over-the-top Asian character who almost makes everyone forget about the controversy sparked by Skids and Mudflap in the previous episode. Granted, Jeong has depicted such stereotypes in other movies and appearances. Yet he’s the only human in the story whose broad acting is rooted in race. Can’t help but think Jeong’s becoming the Asian Amos ’n’ Andy or Stepin Fetchit. And when you consider his real-life persona, it’s safe to say Jeong may be the most amazing Transformer in the flick.

okay, i'll give you that one, which is not much better than the big, burley, black guy hefting the rocket launcher..."tote that bale! pick that cotton!"...

You're absolutely right, that's why Ken LOSER Jeong is making money because he is benefiting from racism.
