The CLIO Awards have taken cultural cluelessness to award-winning levels. Anyone who can figure out this concept deserves to steal a trophy. To present Apartheid for an exclusive awards show catering to a segregated and arguably racist industry is nothing short of asinine—and patently offensive to boot.

Unfortunately there's no one left in the American ad industry to care.
The all-white jury for the 2015 Creative Bowl is representative of the all-white industry.

The only people of color allowed in US advertising are actors in the ads, or models in the ads, or foreigners of color educated at elite schools. US minorities, no.
