• Responding to the risk of lawsuits and political pressures, colleges and universities across the country are allowing White students to benefit from scholarships and financial programs traditionally created for minorities. An official with the NAACP remarked, “How is it that they conclude that the great evil in this country is discrimination against White people? Can I put that question any more pointedly?
