• A new Bloomberg national poll showed 50 percent of Americans think they’re worse off now than they were two years ago when President Obama took office. Plus, two-thirds of citizens believe the country’s heading in the wrong direction. And about 100 percent think Wesley Snipes has lost his mind.
• Beyoncé presented Jay-Z with a birthday gift—a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport worth about $2 million. The couple is clearly not in the 50 percent of Americans who think they’re worse off now than they were two years ago.
