Adweek reported Popeyes handed its creative account to GUT Miami, ending its long-term relationship with White advertising agency GSD&M, the shameless shameful creator of Annie the Chicken Queen. While the shift could be viewed as progress because GUT is run by Latinos, it’s odd that Popeyes brags about Louisiana roots and works with out-of-state vendors. Let’s see what the GUT guys do with Annie.
