Essay 4804
A fast-feeding MultiCultClassics Monologue…
• To celebrate the Whopper’s 50th anniversary, Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York City erected a statue of Burger King. He’s the first fast food character to receive the honor—even Ronald McDonald hasn’t been immortalized in such a way. “Brands do play an important part in popular culture,” said the director of marketing for Madame Tussauds. “The Whopper and the King are part of an American icon.” Sounds like the museum got a whopper stack of cash.
