• NBC said, “No Thanks,” to a commercial thanking the troops in Iraq. A conservative group called Freedom’s Watch produced the spot, but NBC rejected it because the network feels the organization’s website is too political. Heaven forbid something too political might appear on any NBC-related network.
• A judge rejected a lawsuit seeking to block a new law in Arizona that bans the hire of undocumented workers and requires employers to verify an applicant’s status. Look for Freedom’s Watch to produce a “Thank You” commercial for the judge.
