Macy’s salutes Black History Month—and damn near every other minority celebration.
Macy's would celebrate National Hangnail Day if they thought it was "inclusive." They probably already do, right next to National Lefthanders Day and Diversity Of Thought Day.Doesn't mean Macy's cares, has cared, or will ever care about the diversity in their advertising partners. They're one of the many, many brands that simply throw some mixed-race, light-skinned brown people in front of the camera for large ad campaigns that pay lots of money to white-owned ad agency teams, funnel itty bitty banner ads and Black History Month print work to Black partners that pays in pennies, and and call it a day.
