Translation is behind the Bud Light Superstition commercial featuring the classic Stevie Wonder tune. Did Stevie serve as the art director too? Talk about a missed opportunity. Guess it was too difficult to come up with a couple of interesting rituals to depict. Can’t help but think the concept has been done before—and done better. Anybody remember when Bud Light consistently produced breakthrough campaigns? This Translation spot is lame and generic. Then again, it’s still better than anything mcgarrybowen did for the beer brand. But just barely.
